Dr Adrien D'Ambrosio specialised in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the lower limb at the University Hospital of Strasbourg. He was subsequently appointed University Chief of Clinic within the hip and knee prosthetic surgery unit, where he developed expertise in minimally invasive surgery, computer-assisted surgery and enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS).
In 2023, Dr D'Ambrosio joined the Northern Vaud Hospital Establishments (eHnv), where he was promoted to the position of Associate Physician in 2024, taking on responsibility for conservative, reconstructive and prosthetic knee surgery.
In 2025, he joined the prestigious Centre Orthopédique Santy in Lyon, a FIFA Centre of Medical Excellence, where he further developed his skills in conservative and reconstructive knee surgery and hip arthroscopy.
Since 2026, Dr D'Ambrosio has been practising independently in Lausanne and Vevey, treating lower limb conditions related to sports practice and degenerative origins.
